The Government of Telangana (GoTS) has been instrumental in facilitating the creation of self-sustaining Lifesciences ecosystems. B-Hub is a proud member of such a cluster.

With the aim to impart impetus to the growth of Biopharmaceutical Industry in India, Telangana State Industrial Infrastructure Corporation (TSIIC), the State Implementing Agency through its Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) “Bio-tech Hub Ltd” has undertaken the execution of B-Hub. TSIIC is the premier organization in the state of Telangana, vested with the objective of providing industrial infrastructure.

The Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India was ratified in 1986 in a context wherein the Lifesciences Sector in the country was in critical need of holistic development from academia, to industry. With a mandate to nurture and cultivate Lifesciences human resource capital, develop infrastructure, and facilitate research, DBT has partnered with GoTS and TSIIC to support the establishment of B-Hub Scale-up Manufacturing Facility.
